CRUMLEY Design Studio strives to create a new graphic language, a compilation of bold graphic design and sleek sculptural form.
CRUMLEY first premiered nationwide in Co-op Barneys New York, and for the past five years has been consistently featured in top retailers around the globe including Bergdorf Goodman, Isetan, Collette, Diptrics, Fred Segal, Opening Ceremony, Urban Outfitters and many others. International stylists have chosen CRUMLEY designs for publications such as Italian Vogue, The New York Times, Marie Claire, W, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, French Vogue, WWD, and TIME Magazine.
Brian Crumley, a 5th generation Texan, was born on the island of Guam, then raised in Austin, Texas. Brian began his multi-disciplined visual art career in New York City, sixteen years ago, enjoying success in a variety of creative professions: art director, sculptor, photographer, jewelry designer, videographer, and stylist.
In 2009, CRUMLEY Design relocated our studio to Austin, the place of Brian’s roots. Here, CRUMLEY continues our organic design process, the exploration of recycled mediums to abstract function and artistic form.
Ashley Moss joins CRUMLEY after many years as a Design and Product Development Director in Manhattan. Having focused solely on apparel for companies such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Marithe & Francois Girbaud, Ashley is excited to switch classifications and work with jewelry. She is thrilled do be out of the wilds of New York City and settled in Austin. She comes here with her husband, Jos, a classical singer, and their son, Henry.

Gwen Riley is Operations Manager of CRUMLEY. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Gwen moved to Texas six years ago to study art at Trinity University before beginning a year-long design apprenticeship with Brian. Now, Gwen assists in all aspects of the CRUMLEY Studio: design, development, production, marketing and sales.
